Vintage Skeleton Keys
The first keys and locks were probably invented by the Egyptians around 4,000 years ago, but since they were made of wood, they haven't survived. Once locks and keys started being made of metal they became collectibles. So why would you want to collect vintage skeleton keys? They are cheap, easily available, and have great decorative potential. Many of these vintage skeleton keys have highly decorative designs on the bow.
